Tile assemblages, spoons, boxes and shrines

Tile panels
This range has developed over a period of years. They evolved out of a need to find a function for the numerous glaze tests I carried out whilst an undergraduate. I have continued with this theme and they have endured and evolved throughout the years. I now see them as assembled glaze paintings that explore juxtaposed composition and awkward colour balance.  They are suitable to hang in the domestic space and are particularly resistant to damp i.e., kitchens and bathrooms.

Decorative Spoons
I started making decorative 'spoons in 1994 as an undergraduate. I have since upped the scale and encourage people to see them as wall sculpture that references the 70's trend to hang them as kitchenalia.

Boxes
Wall mounted boxes that are surface led.

Shrines
Catholic symbolism and love of saints and sinners to the fore, false God/real God multi-reference. Elementally Kitsch but with seriously good intention.
